Vivid memories of getting zapped from that un-grounded turntable, constantly trying to replay parts and songs and doing my best to be self taught through magazines and friends. To this day, the feeling of learning a challenging new lick or cool part feels the same as it did as a teenager!
In my early 20's was lucky enough to find an amazing teacher in Toronto (Sil Simone) who my best friend Bruce and I would drive every Saturday morning into Toronto for a couple of hours of eye opening lessons and growth. This was huge for me while recording the Brass Bikini record at Reaction Studios in The Beaches area of T.O.
Lucky enough to have the old-school background, playing the high school, the halls, the basement parties and eventually the clubs. Is there any better feeling than finishing a song live and knowing that you and the band were absolutely fire and nailed it?

My best friends to this day have either taught me my first chords, guitar buds or past and present band mates. The guitar has brought me a passion for music and life long friendships.
Past original bands have included:
Third Degree
Brass Bikini
Kirs10
The 13th
Sound As People
Currently (pandemic providing!) playing guitar for an Incubus tribute act "redefine" in Southern Ontario.
Zero chance I can name them all - there are definitely bigger one's than others but here are a few:
#1 is definitely Edward Van Halen. The sole reason I picked up the guitar in the first place (like so many of us!)
Steve Vai
Michael Einziger (Incubus)
Andy Timmons
Andy Wood
David Knudson (Minus The Bear)
Allan Holdsworth
Jeff Beck
Jake E Lee
Paul G

and so many more...
Hopefully you can hear bits and pieces of all of them in my playing, but at the end of the day you hear "me" and how I have been influenced by so many killer musicians and friends. :)
Really hoping this page and social media helps get across the passion and love I have for music.
After years of playing and being in bands, this will be the landing page for my originals - starting with instrumental as that has been a dream of mine for such a long time. Later on the plan is to incorporate and work with different vocalists and putting out some alt-rock that people will dig!
The first single is aptly called "release". This has been a long time coming and that song in particular came out quite fast and for multiple reasons can be defined as a "release". Enjoy!
